Don’t even worry about a phone number; just talk to them whenever you see them. What that is going to do is establish a relationship and build rapport over time. So when do you get a phone number? Get the phone number when they know you by name. When you walk into said place and they make an effort to talk to you because they know who you are, then that’s when you have enough rapport to make a move IF there is an opportunity to do so (i.e. they’ve let you know that they are available and/or looking for a guy to date or have sex with). How will you know this? If you’re familiar enough with someone, and have enough rapport, you’ll naturally start sharing relationship info with each other.

Understand that the phone number may not even be necessary, so don’t try to force it. I have been friends with girls, seeing them on the regular at various places, and never actually exchanged phone info until after we started having sex or hanging outside of wherever we kept seeing each other at. A phone number isn’t necessary if you’re seeing each other on a fairly frequent basis, which means you’ll be able to build rapport over time whenever you run into them.
